PROGRAMS
PRIMARY
The Montessori Primary is a beautiful, calm, and joyful learning environment.
Children from ages 3 to 6 years old share this space together. The multi-age group allows children to learn from each other in a kind, respectful manner.
The environment is filled with Montessori materials organized into different areas of learning yet composed of a wholly integrated curriculum. These key learning areas are Math, Language, Sensorial, Cultural Studies, Practical Life, and Outdoor Learning.
ELEMENTARY
Elementary-aged children are known for their inquisitive minds, ability to think abstractly and imaginatively, strong moral and social compass, and enthusiasm for research and exploration. In the Montessori Elementary program, children work collaboratively in small, mixed-age groups on projects that ignite their imagination, engage their intellect, and enhance their reasoning skills.
Key characteristics of the Montessori Elementary program include building upon the foundations laid at the Primary level, having a mixed age group of children ages 6 through 9, providing two uninterrupted work cycles per day, fostering collaboration and cooperation, creating a classroom environment that nurtures creativity and critical thinking, encouraging open-ended and individualized work, empowering children to take charge of their education, guiding children to explore their interests while meeting educational standards, promoting a thirst for knowledge beyond the classroom, and emphasizing the principles of freedom and responsibility throughout the entire elementary experience.
